Where The Yellowstone Goes

Director/Producer

Where the Yellowstone Goes follows a drift boat journey down the longest “undammed” river in the lower 48. Intimate portraits of locals in both booming cities and dusty, dwindling towns along the Yellowstone River, illustrate the history and controversies surrounding this enigmatic watershed leading to questions about its future.

For 30-days, a small crew experiences a soul searching and inspirational journey down the longest free flowing river in the contiguous United States. Connect with colorful characters, get lost in the hypnotic cast of a fly rod, and experience silhouetted moments of fireside stories on this heartfelt river adventure.

Director Hunter Weeks (10 MPH, Ride the Divide) presents a thoughtful exploration of life on America’s great undammed river, the Yellowstone. With Montana’s captivating scenery at the forefront, Where the Yellowstone Goes takes a closer look at the impact people have on each other and on our environment.

Ride the Divide

Their journey helps capture the stories of the last few people born in the late 1800s and sheds a unique light on what each citizen of the world must eventually face. Though there is no sure way to live long, the stories of the Supercentenarians and those who know them will certainly open many minds and help people think differently about their ultimate timeline.

10 MPH

Director/Producer

10 MPH is a comical documentary that follows a pair of aspiring filmmakers as they quit their jobs and turn a friend’s ludicrous idea into a movie. The impulsive purchase of a two-wheeled Segway scooter sets this story in motion when the two friends decide to travel from Seattle to Boston at 10 MPH in an attempt to change their lives forever… What ensues is a road trip like none other with a haphazard cast of characters you could only find on a zany 100-day trek through America’s back roads. Each poignant story the two friends discover along the way inspires a craving inside to go out and do that thing you’re supposed to do.
The debut film from director, Hunter Weeks, opened the door for new opportunities. 10 MPH used an unconventional release strategy becoming the first feature length documentary on You Tube. The film’s success led to speaking engagements around the world, awards, critical acclaim, and more films from Weeks and co-producer Josh Caldwell.
